“Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much.”
“When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free.”
“The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naive forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.”
“I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another way of saying, I will not forgive. Forgiveness ought to be like a canceled note - torn in two, and burned up, so that it never can be shown against one.”
“Forgiveness is a funny thing. It warms the heart and cools the sting.”
“Sincere forgiveness isn't colored with expectations that the other person apologize or change. Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Love them and release them. Life feeds back truth to people in its own way and time.”
"Jesus meant to love those who steal your girlfriend, cut you off on the road or swindle you in a business deal. "
"Love your enemies"... (if you have one, so you don't want to find ways to forget hating them..)
"Nothing can cure the Soul but the senses, just as nothing can cure the senses but the soul...."
If it can do so much to me, I wonder what it would have been like for people like RL Stevenson, Fitzgerald, Tagore, WH Davis, Emily Dickinson, Thomas Hardy, HW Longfellow, Raymond Foss and our own Shelley.
The water that seeped out of the coal mine is drained a little away from the mine to form a lake - it looked more like a lagoon for me. Excess water is drained into a natural lake a little far away from this place which provides water to the metro nearby. There is a new forest housing common birds and rare birds, and also a deer park more than 50 (don't know the exact count) and some water animals and amphibians. They do fishing as well from this lake.
The color of the water resembled the white clay that was found in the lowest bed of the mine. Since the water is getting supplied constantly, the color of the water remains unchanged. The clay or the soil content in the water doesn't get the chance to settle down in the bed of the lake.
There is boating facility as well.
Ducks having fun...
With couple of local people who visited this place..
Thanks KP and Anand.
I was just surfing through the net for some websites where I can put up my photos on blog with much ease. That was when I came across this blog provider. I found it more an apt place to put my photos on display. The templates impressed me. So I thought I would publish my photo blog here. Looking forward to meet more like-minded and people with similar tastes and interests.
It is true in general case. Most of us do the same. May be the time taken to either forget... read more
